PhoneBloks, Why I would love to have ONE

Right from the starting I was more of a customs guy. Whatever I wanted, I wanted it to be customized to my own requirements. My computer at the moment and the one which I had before, were both assembled. I even had my room made specially according to my needs.
What I get down basically is to a point where I can say that customizing is what I liked and love to do. But one thing which has dissapointed me a lot was not having that in a cell phone. I had that in my computers, (not in my laptop computer but I don't like laptops). What if I wanted a faster phone, am I supposed to just go and get a new one and throw my money like a monkey throws bananas ? The answer was definitely PhoneBloks.

Grasping at this technology, we can look at the aftereffects of it. Major companies like Samsung would find it difficult to keep on providing the same old plastic phones with not up to the mark software and most importantly a phone with the same hardware which cannot be altered. I can literally see people going in stores and ordering a piece of their own choice. Something they can assign according to their own needs. Like my grandma has a phone with a mediocre speaker. I got that one for her. She loves it. I even gave her some decent music. Now what happens is that she is not utilizing the entire phone. She just goes on making calls and listens to radio and music. What about the 1 GHz processor that is given with it. She doesn't use that. Or not even the 5 MP camera with it. She's not even sure if she can start the camera at times. What if, I was able to give her a phone modified for her. Like one with a big speaker, an average camera (just for namesake and emergencies) a bigger battery and a good but not very powerful processor ? She would be happy to use it.

I on the other hand do a lots of things, I play games on my phone when I'm on the go, I watch movies and TV shows (especially Game of Thrones, can't really watch it on my TV. Plus they remove the "interesting scenes" so whats the use ?). I also like to do photography, that too with a little space for photography in the heart. Not bathroom selfies. I can so build a phone like this with the concept. I can make it extremely personalized.

Peeping into the future, there might be markets with parts for sale. An 8x zoom camera, a bigger battery, a better memory storage. This would kind of revolutionize the smartphone genre. Everyone would be the chefs to their own recipes !

Bottom line, there are some technologies which need to exist. PhoneBloks is one of them. It will surely facilitate the market, make people buy smartphones less and upgrade them more. It will keep a deeper sense of usability than other devices in the go at the moment. I am really looking forward to its release.
