Windows as it is a very interesting Operating system. But at times it can be boring to look at the same thing again and again. So just to add a little spice to it, you can try new colors, new wallpapers. Also I have written this specific tutorial to add a color to the same old ocher-yellow colored folders to something more appealing and candy for the eyes.
1. Download and install this software - Folder Colorizer After this reboot the PC once for the settings to take effect.
2. Once done navigate to the file you want to colorize.
3. Right click on that file and click on 'Colorize!'

4. Now select the color you want to assign the folder
5. You are done.

Why should I use this
A couple of reasons actually. First of all as I stated above that this adds up a little spice while operating. Moreover it looks good too. Next to that the basic operations of finding a file amongst a lot of files without use the search functions can now be done. You can color your movies folder red and then when you try to find you can easily spot the red folder.
The software is not spammy and will not in any case try to trouble your daily computing. However it takes away one feature that windows had by default of changing the icon of a folder by using the icon of the files inside. Still its not a very great deal considering the things we are getting.
